The Avengers: Review

It’s hard to ignore a movie that brings Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and Hulk together to fight against evil (aka Loki from Thor)

Official Trailer

All super hero character have been successful in their respective individual movie and bringing them together in a single movie was just raising expectation too high for audiences and I think Marvel did a fantastic job in meeting those expectations.

The story is cleverly woven. You would love to see humor with sarcasm throughout the movie, at few points even successful getting you off your chair!

So it’s Samuel Jackson (Nick Fury) who visions to bring the super heroes under one organization called as S.H.E.I.L.D. to fight against who think earth is easy target. Loki an exiled God who can control minds and aims to rule earth where as the super heroes believe otherwise.

Scarlett Johansson takes her character to a new high where as Robert Downey Jr. according to me steals the show with his fast paced with a tone of self obsessed dialogue delivery.
Chris Evans every now and then seems like just another guy among the super heroes but Director does a fabulous job by bringing him right back in with a bang! Chris Hemsworth (Thor) brother of Loki tries to balance between earth and his world but ultimately has to fight against his brother.
I would have loved to see Edward Nortan as Hulk but none the less Mark Ruffalo did equally good job.

To sum it up I would say kudos to Director, Joss Whedon who managed to give equal importance to all super heroes and not make look anyone overshadowed.
Proof? In the climax while everyone is fighting the army from other world using their super power and Captain America just running and giving instructions like a war general with his shield, comes a punch from the director that resurrects him back as super hero in the movie.

There are few scenes in the movie that will take your breath away if watching in 3D or else I think 2D should suffice to enjoy this super hero union. Cinematography gradually improves from dark locations to bright ones.
The action in the movie is top notch in fact it is one of the finest you can expect and can be enjoyed again on DVD or Blu-Ray.

The Avengers is pure mixture of super heroes+action+Humor which resulted in awesome theatrical entertaining experience. If you wait long enough in the movie hall you will know that a sequel is in thoughts of Marvel, fingers crossed :)
